Phil joined the club as a junior in 1975 going on to
represent State, Australian, College and professional teams.
Phil has been head coach of the club during 9 different years whilst
winning seven Division 1 premierships during those years.
Phil has coached Under 14 and Under 16 junior Wildcat teams.

20-plus year Australian youth and senior AROOS coach.
been a long time supporter of Waverley Baseball Club
initially following her brother as a player and now her two
sons, who joined Waverley as T-ballers and who have now
progressed to play for Waverley in both the Junior and
Senior divisions. Sue also has a young daughter who is
disabled and plays in the Domestic competition, and has a
special interest in seeing disabled children participate in
playing baseball. She has appreciated all the support that
has been given to her children as members of Waverley and as
a member of the Board would like to be able to give back to
the club some of the support she has received over her years
When Steve moved his
family to Australia eight years ago from Chicago, he
literally found Waverley Baseball Club behind his back
fence. He first cut a gate in that fence and then got
involved with Waverley's junior programs as a tee ball coach
and then coordinator. This year Steve is moving into the
role of Juniors Director to support all the junior age group
programs. His goal is to continue improving the already
solid junior programs so that they not only produce the next
generation of players but also create lifelong baseball
